Jeff: The first thing that jumped to my mind when you said it was the Adams family.
Mr. Dog Poop: Adams Family. Right. So, we all know Christina Ricci is Wednesday Adams.
Jeff: I mean, I’m sure I'm missing one, but I feel like that's her defining role. But she was in something else when she was a kid. It's going to drive me crazy.
Mr. Dog Poop: Well, okay, so here you go. I have 24 pages of her movie and TV history, 24 pages of movies that she's been in. Some of them were really big movies. Some of them were really popular movies. Do you remember the movie Casper?
Jeff: Casper. Casper. That's one I was thinking of.
Mr. Dog Poop: Casper. She was in Sleepy Hollow.
Jeff: Just said that too. Yeah. Yeah.
Mr. Dog Poop: She been in a lot of movies, but we all know her as Wednesday.
Jeff: I mean, Casper, I saw that as a little boy. But she seems to have a niche in kind of the darker stuff.
Mr. Dog Poop: I wouldn't say that. Based on these 24 pages of her movie history, lot of movies in here, all kinds of things.
Jeff: And she is in Wednesday.
Mr. Dog Poop: She is in Wednesday. She is on Wednesday as Thornhill, Marilyn Thornhill in Wednesday. They brought her back because it's such a defining role. I mean, she is Wednesday Adams, it defined her career. And she was cast as Wednesday in the Adams Family. It aired in 1991. And people are trying to compare her with Jenna Ortega and Jenna Ortega was born in 2002. So, Jenna Ortega was born 11 years after Christina Ricci played Wednesday.
Jeff: She does have that look though.
Mr. Dog Poop: So, this Wednesday comes out, and I don't know who the original, who the director was of the movie. The original movies were good. Christina Ricci was amazing. It defined her career. Everybody knows her as Wednesday Adams. And this is what's happening to Jenna Ortega because she gets in this TV show and this TikTok video comes out. Can we show the TikTok video of the solo [Video 40:10 – 40:27] We all love it, right? We've all seen it. A trillion people have watched it. It’s amazing. Everybody wants to be Wednesday and dance like Wednesday, right? I mean, everybody wants to be Wednesday. They want to have the hand coming down; everybody and everything. And if you don't believe me watch. There’s going to be a couple of millions of people on TikTok that copied that dance. Let's play this clip. [Video 41:03 – 42:30] That's it. Everybody and everything, every cat, every child, every gay man, everybody wants to be Wednesday. Everybody.
Jeff: You know how much I like to make things illegal. I'm starting to reconsider when it comes to TikTok.
Mr. Dog Poop: You’re starting to reconsider. That was great. All these people are out there emulating Jenna Ortega's dance. Jenna Ortega created the dance. She just did this thing. But then, you know, Netflix did this whole marketing thing and pushed the video and Chan took a Lady Gaga song and put it in a thing and it all worked out. And this changed Jenna Ortega's life. Jenna Ortega been doing stuff since she was like 10. So, Christina Ricci was 10 years old when she did the first Adams Family movie. And Jenna Ortega did her first acting at 10 years old. But Janet Ortega was 20 years old when she played Wednesday.
Jeff: Much older version.
Mr. Dog Poop: Not an older version, but definitely more experienced. And plus it doesn't hurt to have Tim Burton directing you, right? Yeah. You got Tim Burton.
Jeff: I guess. I promise you, I don't think I'm going to ever watch the show.
Mr. Dog Poop: Really? You’re the only person. Jeff Macolino is the only person in America not watching Wednesday.
Jeff: Yep.
Mr. Dog Poop: We're having Wednesday. Wednesday and Jeff Macolino hasn't watched the show.
Jeff: I see all the Twitter comments and it makes me realize how many people follow me and I follow back a lot of times. That must, I hope, be a good 10 years younger than me because they are drooling over this girl like she is the hottest thing on the planet.
