Egg Sandwich? Ribeye Steak? Rubens? Patty Melt? What will it cook?
As it turns out this little dynamo is pretty good for the under $25 price tag.
We actually made the mistake of trying to make Panini sandwiches rather than just using it as a small kitchen grill. The most success we had was cooking a previously frozen ribeye steak. Then we cooked a cube steak and made a patty melt and even cooked some sausage patties.
While the big challenge was to make Rubens, we may have over stacked the sandwich for the size of the Panini press.
Regardless, the grill out performed our expectations and it did burn us a few times.
We did have some complaints about the design, it was definitely not very user friendly and expect at least a couple burns until you get familiar with the set up. But isn't a good meal worth a couple burned fingers?
The grill also folded open to lay flat, but one side was clearly hotter than the other and cooking the top and bottom goes so much faster than just the underside.
By the end of the show we fed the entire crew and had everyone fighting over who was going to get the Ribeye. Of course that went to Fat Chris, or should I say he took it when nobody was looking.
Check out our live show Monday through Friday on YouTube at 6Pm eastern time.

P51 Mustang Erector Set Review - ***** So.... we thought it would be a great idea to review STEM (Science, Technology, Engeering and Math) projects on The Man Show Live. After all, if it is made for kids from 6-12 years old, it should be a snap for two way more than 12 year old guys to demonstrate. This one caught us by surprise. We thought it would be easy. We thought we were as smart as any 6 year old. We were wrong! So what happened? How hard can it be to assemble a model of a P51 Mustang? Well, when we opened the kit we realized were were literally building the plane from scratch. The kit had either 285 pieces or 258 pieces depending on weather you believe what is says on the box or the directions. They both had different numbers so the kit was even ...read more
Preserving food for the Zombie Apocalypse with a $25 Vacuum Packer Can a $25 vacuum sealer do the job. In this episode the guys manage to show their complete incompetence in operating a kitchen vacuum sealer. They just can't make it work. Is the the machine or the operators? It turns out, it was the operators and their stubborn man attitudes in failing to read the directions. Mr Dog Poop brings out a larger commercial type sealer and shows how it is done, man style. They try to preserve some severed hands, feet etc. But it looks like these guys need some help if either is going to survive the zombie apocalypse. Unless you can survive solely by drinking beer and being stupid. Since that is not likely, these guys may be SOL. But at least you can watch their incompetence live on The Man Show Monday through Friday ...read more
$17 Personal Frying Pan - Is it big enough for a man size meal? Personal Frying Pan - Is it big enough for a REAL MAN? Our first impression was that it was small. But that may be the best part, portable, does not take up much space and in the end, it did cook a man size portion. One man at least. The cons were, too shallow, no temperature control and that the handle needed to be assembled from 3 parts which is something some men wont be able to do. Mr Dog Poop cooks sausage chili made with Italian sausage, onions, peppers, garlic, tomatoes and kidney beans. It is a struggle to get all the ingredients into the shallow pan but in the end, keeping in a heaping pile did work. Once that finished, he attempted a Philly cheese steak with mushrooms and Swiss cheese. Jeff cooks ...read more
