We beat the critics that said it was impossible for an old dog poop guy and his drunk friend to figure out how to stream a live show on the internet.
Our first episode was about "Reviewing of a Zombie Survival Tool Kit".
The kits are abundant online from mid $20's to around $50 depending on which tools are packed into the individual kit.
We unpacked and tested each item to see how helpful each tool would be in a survival situation with some very nice and some completely useless.
The truth is, you could never know what you might need if you run out of gas in the middle of nowhere or fall out of a plane in the Australian outback, but if you do and you have the kit with you, it could help you survive.
The kit included a very sharp high quality pocket knife that is critical to survival and probably the number one tool in the kit that you could not live without.
The fire starting tools would have been beet replaced with a lighter or matches, but we were able to start a fire with the aid of highly flammable starting fluid. A spray product containing a blend of volatile hydrocarbons, diethyl ether, and carbon dioxide (as a propellant) used to help start internal combustion engines.
Of course, a little gasoline would have been just as good.
But the chance of an inexperienced person starting a fire in a cold or wet environment is pretty slim.
Other items like paracord and shoe laces could be helpful to tie things together, support something or even build snares to trap small animals.
And as always, if you don't feel like a man, just grab a beer and join us each day for an hour of manly discussions, manly topics and other manly crap!
It is about time that men had a live show dedicated to men and we will try to deliver that content as long as we are still standing.
Building Solar Powered Robots This episode of the man show features the guys trying to build solar robots out of a kit made for 8 years and up. Seems like a simple task for 2 guys way up from 8 years old. But the task proves to be overwhelming for both of the hosts and in fact even with a degree in electrical engineering, Mr Dog Poop struggles to understand the basic component parts. Of course that degree was back when TV's were made with vacuum tubes and houses were built with fuses and not circuit breakers. So he is a bit dated to understand modern technology. And we can't forget about Jeff Macolino, his focus was all out on trying to assemble something that at least looked like a robot after Mr Dog Poop embarrassed him on the P51 broadcast when Jeff failed to complete the project. But ...read more
Reviewing 2 Bella Egg Cookers and the Hamilton Beach Dual Breakfast Sandwich MakerWhat a disaster, 2 guys drinking and cooking eggs in egg cookers and a sandwich maker. Hot dropped eggs, burned hands and Jeff eating eggs like he is at the county fair in an eating contest is what you will see in the episode of The Man Show Live. The guys manage to cook eggs and give the devices a thumbs up. But when they try to cook more the devices fail! The truth is, the guys may have been too drunk to realize that they never refilled the cookers with water, so there was no steam to cook anything. But of course they blame the appliances like true manly men. You might think after doing this so many times they would get good at it, but no, they seem to make the same man mistakes again ...read more
P51 Mustang Erector Set Review - ***** So.... we thought it would be a great idea to review STEM (Science, Technology, Engeering and Math) projects on The Man Show Live. After all, if it is made for kids from 6-12 years old, it should be a snap for two way more than 12 year old guys to demonstrate. This one caught us by surprise. We thought it would be easy. We thought we were as smart as any 6 year old. We were wrong! So what happened? How hard can it be to assemble a model of a P51 Mustang? Well, when we opened the kit we realized were were literally building the plane from scratch. The kit had either 285 pieces or 258 pieces depending on weather you believe what is says on the box or the directions. They both had different numbers so the kit was even ...read more
